Common gull in Porsanger

Common gull in flight, photographed somewhere between Lakselv and Smørfjord in Porsanger.

Here we saw plenty of breeding platforms made for the gulls along the coastline, most of which were in use, and this individual was on their way back to one of these platforms.

In a time where gulls are in decline, it's nice to come across places where people have put effort into helping their local gulls, rather than chasing them away.
