About
I'm Sarah Fossheim (they/them), and I'm a wildlife and nature photographer, birder, accessibility specialist, and developer based in Norway.
I'm especially interested in photographing birds, and want to use my art as a way to document and share stories about the behavior, history, ecology, threats and conservation of different species.
While birds and wildlife are my main focus, I also photograph landscapes, plants, mushrooms, lichen, and otjer nature-related subjects, and document our travels and hikes with pictures.

More about me
I started my photography journey as a kid, taking pictures of the animals in my grandparents garden. Photography remained a hobby throughout my teens, but it ended up taking a backseat after college, when I started working in tech.
After a long hiatus, I bought a new camera and started photographing the flock of crows and gulls living in our street. I quickly found my passion for photography again, and decided to combine it with my passion for nature and birdwatching.
