Puffin in flight

Atlantic puffin in flight. It's a bright picture, with a bright blue sky, that has a white cloud creating a diagonal top-left-to-bottom-right line. In the middle of the frame there's the puffin with its wings stretched out, following the same diagonal line as the couds.

Svalbard

Atlantic puffin spotted at Svalbard, July 2023. We were on a boat trip with Better Moments, going from Longyearbyen to Ny-Ålesund.

This particular picture was taken somewhere close to Alkhornet, a cliff in Isfjorden where many murres and puffins nest.
