Atlantic Puffin
Fratercula arctica
The Atlantic Puffin is probably the most photographed auk of them all. Its colorful red/orange and yellow beak stands out in strong contrast with their black and white bodies.
They're native to the atlantic ocean, and nest in burrows on the grass sides of bird cliffs. They're monogamous birds and mate for life, and each spring they return back to the same partner and burrow.
